The camp is fully booked out (40 max) (with another 15 on the waiting list) so we're going to hold a second event during the mid semester break.
Cost (Includes Bus Trip (Large Coach), Snacks, Drink and Entry to the Tulip Festival): $25 (Fotoholics Members) $30 (Non Members)
Highlights: - Landscape, Flower and Macro Photography - Model Photography (Models Provided) - We request that you send a couple of shots of the models to us after the event so we can pass it onto the models :) - Please contact us if you are interested in modeling as well

Event 5 - Spring Break Camp

Update: Please note all places for this Camp are now full. We have a waiting list however it is currently 20 people long :( Nevertheless, please email us to join the waiting list
This semester, we are heading around Port Phillip Bay, both the east and west side! (Crossing via Ferry) Two days and one night of exciting new attractions, fun activities and non-stop photo action! This highly popular event is not to be missed!
Date: September 28th-29th Price: $95 members/ $105 non-members (This Camp is heavily subsidised by Fotoholics and Melbourne University Student Union. The fee includes accommodation, transport, dinner, breakfast and all entry fees for exciting attractions)
If you are able to BYO car and drive, you get a $30 discount on the fee (and petrol reimbursed) (Safe drivers only please :))
Attractions: At this stage we are still finalising the itinerary but so far we will be visiting the well regarded Ashcombe Maze and the lavender Gardens, for some stunning shots and sweet smelling flowers, local attractions like the Blowhole, The famous Cape Schanck Lighthouse at sunset and a Ferry trip to Queenscliff. The Ferry trip (with cars on board) is expected to be the highlight of the camp, providing unparalleled views of historic buildings and lighthouses as well as marine animals such as dolphins, Australian fur seals, seabirds and many more photo opportunities.

Event 4 - Fotoholics Studio Day (Recap)

On a windy and cold day on the 29th of September, over 40 Fotoholics members participated in our first Studio Portraits Shoot for the semester.

Event 3, Semester 2, 2009 Mini Workshop and Sharing Session 1
Our first Sharing Session for the semester will include a mini workshop on Basic Flash Techniques for People Photography, as well the traditional sharing and commenting on each other’s work. Pizza and Refreshments will also be provided, so no need to bring your own lunch (though you can if you want to)

You can submit up to 6 photos, however for space reasons this number may be cut down, so please number the files in order of your preference for it to be displayed (“1” being your favourite, “6” being your least favourite)
There will be a Vote for most popular photo, and the first prize will be a Digital Camera Warehouse Voucher
