Joining The Club
Fotoholics is always welcoming new members from all Universities and all walks of life, and of all skill levels. Our members come from a wide variety of backgrounds (including non-melb uni student) and you do not have to own a fancy camera (most don't). All you need is a passion for photography and a sense of fun!
What are the Benefits of Membership?
Additionally, the benefits of becoming a Fotoholics member includes the opportunity to get to know fellow Fotoholics, as well as the chance to join various activities that promote learning, exploration and innovation of your photography skills.
How do I join?
Welcome back to another wonderful year of Uni! Hopefully you all had an AMAZING time off chilling and having fun (and also counting down the days until Uni starts!). Guess what? Orientation Week is just around the corner! How exciting is that! We are proud to announce the return of Fotoholics Melbourne Uni for the year 2012! Our club is back in full swing for another fun filled semester and is looking forward to enriching your photography experience for another whole year.
Our first activity for the semester is held during Orientation Week (23rd-24th Feb 2012) in Wilson Hall, University of Melbourne. Make sure you drop by to say Hello!
We will also be having a lucky draw on that day (when you visit our stall =P) and you stand a chance of winning a free fotoholics t-shirt, badge, or lollies! Don’t forget to spot for our giant camera on the days and take a picture with him!
Our committee members will be present at the stall and would love to catch up with you on your photography exploits over the holidays, or just simply come and have a chat with us to get into the know of what exciting things we have organised for you this year!
If you are unsure about what our club does, approach any committee member present on that day and we will gladly fill you in on what being a Fotoholics is all about OR Alternatively, you can join at any Fotoholics Activity or Event, please seek out a Committee member for assistance.
Membership Cost
A small contribution is requested to subsidise the cost of Fotoholics Events, Equipment and Catering. The remaining expenditure is generously met by Sponsor contributions. As Fotoholics also receives funding from the Melbourne University Student Union (MUSU), MUSU members are subsidised 50% discount on their membership
